TYPES OF CUP: LEARN A LITTLE MORE ABOUT EACH MODEL

There are many different types of cups available from Top Bojos, and each is suited for the manufacture of a particular type of piece. Always ensuring the best quality, support, and providing comfort and safety for those who will wear them.

A cup is not just a cup.

It is an important and essential part of the final result.

It means self-esteem, well-being, comfort, and safety.

Shall we see now what are the main types of cups and their main features?
Plain: The plain cup is considered basic and traditional, and is widely worn by women who have a large bust. It is a structured model, but without paddings, designed to provide support, comfort and security without adding volume or altering the breast shape. This type of cup is used in several pieces and works for all breast sizes.

Top or entire: In this type of cup, the piece is presented in a single piece. This model is widely used in tops or strapless neckline, and its function is to support the breasts without the need of straps.

Demi cup: Most used type of cup that covers almost all the breast giving the garment a flattering look and revealing the cleavage. The Demi cups are great to be worn with blouses and dresses with a low neckline.

Bananinha (small banana): The model has an internal filling in the form of a small banana at the base, which gives the model its name. Its function is to lift the breasts, bringing together and increasing their volume. Ideal to enhance small breasts.
Bubble: It features an internal filling and has the appearance of several bubbles. By enhancing volume without sacrificing comfort, this model increases breast size. It is the ideal type for those who have small breasts
Cortinão (triangle): It is plain and has a triangular shape. It has a wider design, which is perfect for larger breasts. This model is the most used in garments such as bikinis, tops, blouses, dresses, and lace bras.

Cortininha (small triangle): It is often used in triangular garments, which do not cover the whole breast. It has the same characteristics as the Cortinão model, but in a reduced size.

Borboleta (butterfly): Triangular model, but with straight lines on the sides, providing support and comfort. For this reason, it is usually used for the manufacture of most of the time, the butterfly is used to make garments without underwire or in the plus size line.

Strapless: It is usually used in items with removable straps, which can be worn both ways, providing versatility.
Removable: The removable design is usually rounder, with no paddings, and very light. Its function is to cover the breast, and will not cause a visible line. This model is very convenient, since it is not sewn into the fabric.

Push-up: This is the type of cup that due to its shape lifts the bust upward and towards the center. It can be plain or have some paddings such as bubbles or bananinha cups, which add volume to the bust.

Separated: They are generally used in bras with front closure, which is a great ally for those who want to bring the breasts closer and lift them, adding volume without changing the bust shape. Since bras with front closure are usually in the swimwear model, this type of cup is widely used in sports and basic everyday garments, since it is extremely comfortable and convenient.

Nursing: It is very similar to the Plain and Cortina (triangle), because it is comfortable and malleable. This format adapts very well to bras that have a top front closure to facilitate nursing.
